Racer’s off tack betting area has seating for up to 75 people and has over 16 flat screen televisions to broadcast the best horse racing from around the world. The décor of the casino floor is designed to emulate wind and water. The 1500 seat Showplace Theatre at the Riverwind Casino has shows from headline performers such as LoneStar, Merle Haggard, and The Four Tops. There are many dining options available like the Taco Buenos, Traditions Restaurant, the Willows Buffet, and Rick’s Café. Alternatively, you can choose Burger king for a fast food choice or have world famous cinnamon rolls at the Cinnabon. There are two lounges available to guests the Energy Bar and The River Lounge that has 77 seats and can accommodated live musical performances. The Riverwind Casino does not have on site lodging accommodations but there are many nearby places to stay. A few of the hotels in the area are the Guest Inn, The Holiday Inn Norman, the Day Inn, The La Quinta Inn and Suites, and the Residence Inn by Marriott. There are many other sight seeing venues closely available to the Riverwind Casino. The Oklahoma City Memorial, State Museum of History, the Fire House Arts Center, Frontier City, and Brick Town are all just a short drive away. Although the Riverwind Casino may be the largest in Oklahoma, it seems that there is not much to do there besides gamble. All overnight accommodations and sight seeing must be done away from the casino. There are plenty of area attractions to keep you otherwise entertained. There are a total of twelve casinos and gaming centers that are owned by the Chickasaw Nation. Only one of the other casinos have on site lodging available. The Riverwind Casino would be a good day trip for anyone who needs a gambling getaway.
